High-Rely releases MPacTM series. The all new MPac series is our most exciting product yet. Adding now a third media type to our selection (High-Rely and RAIDPac), MPac media is small, based on 2.5" drives. It's low power, drawing half or less the power of our other products of equal capacities. It's economical in signle drive versions. It's flexible and powerful, available in nonRAID single drive versions and dual drive RAID versions allowing each MPac media (tray and hard drive combination) to support two drives in a RAID 0 (striped) or RAID 1 (mirron) configuration. And, RAID MPac media can be field accessed with USB 2.0 without any other frame or power supplies. Current product offerings of a single bay internal, dual bay DXR model, 5 bay minitown and rack mount, 6,7,8 bay 3U rack mount and a sleek 2U 10 bay rack mount. This line offers economy, speed, a small footprint and flexibility like no other removable storage or back up products.

High-Rely releases FirstRAID G3TM. Like our popular FirstRAID G2 but with an extra 5th bay in the RAID group and a more flexible RAID group controller. The G3 allows up to 5 drives to be configured in a RAID 5 array or as few as 2 drives in the RAID group to be configured as a mirror. The previous G2 verison only supported 4 drives and could not be configured easily in smaller configurations. Furthermore, the G3 can down size it's RAID group so that it will fit on the SBay's removable media making maximum size configurations for the SBay possible. The G3 is about 20% faster than the G2 in most operations.

High-Rely announces
FirstRAIDTM - How safe do you feel with your Tape Backup System? Do you ever wonder if you could really restore your network data if there was a catastrophic failure? Highly Reliable Systems is proud to introduce a series of backup products that will give you a new comfort level with the "restorability" of your network data.

Our 4 Bay FirstRAID system directly attaches to your fileserver using a single, industry standard eSATA cable. You can connect it to any eSATA Host Bus adapter that is multi-drive capable. The eSATA port does not need RAID functionality because our internal "in-line" controller handles the RAID. It can be configured for RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 using up to 4 hot-swap removable drives.

Duplicate your backup automatically A popular FirstRAID configuration is to setup the top 3 drives as a RAID 5 array and then leave the 4th drive as a stand-alone drive to "backup the backup". For example, use three 250GB SATA drives to form a fully redundant 500GB RAID 5 array. Now, install a 500GB SATA drive in slot four and configure your backup software to do nightly backups to the RAID and also to duplicate that backup to the stand alone drive. We call this the 3Plus1 configuration. The result? Two copies of your critical data, one of which will survive a single drive failure, the other can be pulled out in the morning and transported off-site. Call our sales team for more information.
